Associate Commercial Lawyer – Technology & SaaS (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Commercial Lawyer with strong experience in the technology sector, particularly SaaS, to provide legal support to our clients. The role is fully remote and focuses on UK‑governed commercial and technology agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate SaaS agreements, software licensing agreements, master services agreements, service agreements, NDAs and vendor contracts.
• Provide legal advice on commercial transactions, technology operations, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Support clients on UK data‑privacy, intellectual property and other technology‑related legal matters.
• Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks across agreements and business operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, executives and external stakeholders to align legal advice with business objectives.
• Assist with contract lifecycle management and drive legal process improvements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with developments in UK commercial and technology law.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with a valid law degree and professional legal experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in commercial law with a focus on technology or SaaS businesses.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating technology agreements governed by UK law.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracting, intellectual property and UK data/privacy regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters in a remote environment.
