Associate Attorney – Litigation & Conveyancing

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our legal team in Alberton. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive litigation and conveyancing support while delivering high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and service an existing client portfolio.
• Draft wills and provide estate‑planning advice.
• Administer trusts and deceased estates.
• Handle general litigation matters from inception to conclusion.
• Attend client consultations and maintain strong relationships.
• Prepare legal correspondence, pleadings and related documents.
• Provide professional legal advice and ensure excellent client service.

Required profile

• LLB degree and admission as an attorney.
• Fluency in Afrikaans (essential).
• Own reliable transport.
• Experience in wills, trusts, estates and general litigation.
• Conveyancing or insurance law experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication, drafting and client‑relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage matters efficiently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Outlook.
• Winlaw (or similar practice management software).
• Practice Manager (training can be provided).

What we offer

• Competitive CTC salary ranging from R25 000 to R35 000, dependent on experience.
• Standard working hours: Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑16:30.
