About the role

Assistant Joiner & Carpenter is responsible for maintaining the vessel's guest and crew areas, carrying out refurbishment, repairs and daily work as instructed by the team leader.

Key responsibilities

Carry out refurbishment, repairs, and new installations in Guest and Crew areas as instructed by the Team Leader.
Assist freshwater bunkering operations as designated by the Team Leader/Facilities Maintenance Manager.
Ensure compliance with the company's environmental policies and safety procedures for all tasks.
Perform routine inspections of Guest and Crew areas under responsibility (e.g., carpet, upholstery).
Provide backstage services.

Required profile

Grade 12 qualification.
South African passport.
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
