Assistant Internal Audit Manager

About the role

Join Hollywoodbets' Purple Team as an Assistant Internal Audit Manager based in Umhlanga. You will support the planning, execution, and reporting of audit assignments across financial, IT, operational, and compliance areas, helping the company maintain robust internal controls and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, reviewing, and reporting audit assignments and internal control frameworks.
• Conduct risk assessments, tests of controls, and detailed audit procedures (financial, IT, operational, compliance).
• Lead audit teams, allocate resources, and manage timelines.
• Evaluate control effectiveness, rate residual risk, and identify process gaps.
• Develop recommendations for improvement and address audit queries promptly.
• Support ad‑hoc projects and tasks assigned by the Audit Manager.

Required profile

• Completed Matric with English and Mathematics.
• Bachelor’s degree majoring in auditing.
• 1–2 years experience leading or managing teams.
• 3–4 years experience in accounting or internal audit.
• Valid driver’s licence, own transport and willingness to travel.
• Registered with an affiliated professional body (IIASA/ISACA).
