Assistant Floor Manager (Day & Afterhours)

About the role

Clicks Group Limited is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Floor Manager to support the Front Shop Manager at the Unicare 24‑Hour Pharmacy in Parklands. This full‑time position involves overseeing day and after‑hours operations, driving sales, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales, profit, and compliance targets.
• Execute promotional activities, cross‑selling and up‑selling initiatives.
• Manage store expenses, stock control, shrinkage, housekeeping and administrative tasks.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store reflects the brand image.
• Motivate and direct staff, handle scheduling and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Deliver customer service initiatives that boost loyalty and club‑card participation.
• Complete weekly time‑and‑attendance records and submit employee documentation to HR.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Relevant Retail/Business Management qualification (or degree – desirable).
• Minimum 1 year experience in an assistant store management role within retail/FMCG or completion of the Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme.
• Experience with financial management such as budgets, profit‑and‑loss statements and financial ratios.
