Assistant Branch Manager

About the role

The Assistant Branch Manager will support the Branch Manager in driving sales and operational excellence at Medirite Plus Sandowns Crossing. This role focuses on delivering a high‑quality customer experience across our health and beauty product ranges while ensuring the store runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise sustainable branch sales by managing and monitoring the performance of unscheduled product lines, including skincare, cosmetics, vitamins and personal care.
• Oversee stock‑room operations, minimise shrinkage and wastage, and maintain effective replenishment throughout the day.
• Ensure shop‑floor presentation and on‑shelf pricing meet company standards.
• Execute pricing strategies and product promotions.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales and profit targets.
• Provide people‑management support, including coaching and supervising store staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail or store management, preferably within health‑and‑beauty categories.
• Strong ability to drive sales performance and achieve targets.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage stock, replenishment and visual standards.
• Leadership qualities to support and develop a team.
