Artisan (Millwright)

About the role

The Artisan Millwright will report to the Engineering Coordinator and play a key role in maintaining critical mining equipment. This position focuses on the inspection, maintenance, and repair of drill rigs, roof bolters, and associated electrical components to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventive maintenance on drill rigs and roof bolters.
• Diagnose and repair breakdowns of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Execute project‑based maintenance tasks and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s HSEC (Health, Safety, Environment, and Community) system.
• Implement management decisions, legal requirements, and company standards related to the Artisan Electrician function.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in industrial or mining equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work safely in a high‑risk environment and follow HSEC procedures.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with the engineering team and other stakeholders.
