About the role
Sasol is offering a 36‑month Artisan Maintenance Learnership in Secunda. Learners will combine on‑the‑job training with structured classroom learning in one of five trades: Mechanical Fitter, Instrumentation, Electrician, Welding or Rigging.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in the learnership programme and successfully complete all assessments.
- Engage in workplace readiness activities and exercises.
- Complete both theoretical and practical learning in the chosen trade.
Required profile
- Completed Grade 12 with passes in Mathematics/Technical Mathematics, English and Physical/Technical Science, OR N3 with passes in Mathematics, English and Engineering Science.
- Willingness to undergo interview, psychometric assessment, medical fitness test and security clearance.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical fitting, instrumentation, electrical work, welding or rigging (depending on chosen trade).
- Ability to follow safety procedures and learn technical tasks on‑site.
