Artisan Coordinator (Engineering) – TMM

About the role

The Artisan Coordinator (Engineering) – TMM is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair and compliance of trackless mobile machinery (TMM) in an underground mining environment. You will lead a team of chargehands and artisans, ensuring equipment availability, safety and performance meet organisational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and environmental policies.
• Plan, schedule and execute preventative maintenance, major repairs and legal work orders.
• Monitor equipment KPIs, control budgets and manage capital applications for repairs and rebuilds.
• Conduct root‑cause failure analysis to minimise repeat breakdowns.
• Lead daily shift handovers, G‑com meetings and provide clear instructions to the team.
• Prioritise breakdowns, manage annual leave schedules and inspect repair quality.
• Report operational and functional performance to the GES.

Required profile

• Proven experience with underground trackless mobile machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret TMM schematics.
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising maintenance teams.
• Familiarity with budgeting, project planning and legal inspection processes.
