Architectural Technologist – Southern Suburbs, Cape Town

About the role

Our client is a well‑established architectural practice located in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, seeking a qualified Architectural Technologist to strengthen their design and delivery capabilities. The role involves producing detailed drawings, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring all documentation meets the required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed architectural drawings.
• Coordinate detailed architectural drawings with consultants and stakeholders.
• Produce technical documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Assist with design development and project delivery.
• Ensure drawings and documentation meet required standards and specifications.

Required profile

• Professional registration with SACAP as a Pr.Arch.T.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Solid technical documentation and detailing experience.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawing standards and project delivery.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
