Architect – Global Projects (Johannesburg)

About the role

Woolpert is seeking an Architect to join its Buildings Team in Johannesburg. The role involves delivering innovative design solutions for large‑scale technology clients while collaborating with global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project deliverables from concept through completion and oversee construction and close‑out.
• Collaborate with global staff, Project Leads and interdisciplinary teams on complex projects for large technology clients.
• Coordinate design, documentation and problem‑solving across medium‑ to large‑scale retail, multi‑family residential or commercial developments.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 4–6 years of architectural experience covering design and construction phases.
• Registered with SACAP.
• Strong organizational, communication and independent‑working abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams).
• Familiarity with Bluebeam for PDF markup and collaboration.
