About the role

Our client, an independent architectural practice, is expanding its teams in Johannesburg and Cape Town. They are looking for an experienced architect to lead the design and delivery of high‑profile commercial projects for leading South African organisations.

Key responsibilities

Develop innovative architectural designs for commercial developments.
Prepare design presentations, technical documentation and construction drawings.
Coordinate with clients, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams throughout all phases.
Manage project deliverables while maintaining design quality and technical standards.
Provide guidance during design and construction, taking ownership of outcomes.

Required profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
Registered with SACAP as a Professional Architect, or eligible for registration.
Minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience, preferably on large‑scale commercial projects.
Proven ability to manage projects from concept through construction.

Required skills

Proficiency in Revit.
