Application Support Engineer

About the role

RedM Professional Services is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to maintain and support mission‑critical banking and financial applications in a highly regulated environment. The role involves ensuring system availability, handling incidents, and delivering high‑quality production support to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st to 3rd line application support for production and non‑production environments.
• Monitor application health, perform daily operational checks, and validate environments after deployments.
• Investigate, resolve, and perform root‑cause analysis of application incidents.
• Manage support tickets, service requests, and adhere to SLA commitments.
• Execute SQL queries for troubleshooting and support software deployment processes.
• Maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and ensure compliance with banking governance, audit and risk requirements.

Required profile

• Professional, client‑focused attitude with strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure, work independently and provide after‑hours support when needed.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and accountable for deliverables.

Required skills

• SQL query writing and execution.
• Support of Windows and Linux environments.
• Log analysis and system integrations.
