Application Developer – Enterprise Systems (Microsoft Stack)

About the role

Join a global enterprise in the insurance and financial services sector as an Application Developer. You will work on large‑scale, business‑critical systems that serve international markets, collaborating with technical and business teams to deliver robust backend solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications based on business and project requirements.
• Support critical client accounting and claims assessment systems used internationally.
• Work across the full software development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and support.
• Build and maintain integrations between systems and applications.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and international stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile delivery processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and application issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.
• Comfortable working with international teams across different time zones.
• Ability to engage directly with business stakeholders and contribute to solution design.

Required skills

• Microsoft SQL Server development, including complex T‑SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
• C# development with .NET Framework 4.5 or higher.
• Experience with Azure DevOps / Microsoft DevOps tools (repositories, pipelines, task tracking).
• WinForms or console application development.
• DevExpress Express Application Framework (XAF).
• Familiarity with DbUp.
• Visual Studio 2017 or newer.
