API Architect – Design Scalable API Ecosystems

About the role

We are looking for an API Architect to design and govern scalable API ecosystems that enable seamless integration across cloud‑native platforms. You will work closely with engineering and business teams to deliver secure, high‑performance solutions that form the backbone of modern digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement API architecture, standards and governance frameworks.
• Manage the full API lifecycle, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Guarantee performance, scalability and security of all API services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align integration strategies with business goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an API Architect.
• Strong knowledge of REST, GraphQL and micro‑services architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Familiarity with OAuth2, API gateways and security protocols.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
