Agile Project Manager (Scrum Master)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Senior Scrum Master to lead agile delivery across multiple technology teams within a major banking transformation. You will act as the primary agile liaison between internal engineering groups and external consulting partners, driving continuous improvement and ensuring high‑impact digital solutions are delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement) for several squads.
• Coordinate cross‑team dependencies, risks, and impediments using Scrum of Scrums, PI Planning, or other scaled agile practices (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
• Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Scrum, lean delivery, and agile mindset.
• Manage relationships with external consulting delivery leads, aligning on Definition of Done and reporting standards.
• Track and report delivery metrics (velocity, throughput, cycle time, burndown, cumulative flow) to drive performance discussions.
• Identify and remove impediments, escalating when necessary.
• Support release management and coordinate deployments with DevOps, infrastructure, and production support.
• Contribute to the Agile Centre of Excellence by sharing best practices and raising agile maturity.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in agile delivery roles.
• 3–5 years as a Scrum Master on large‑scale technology programmes.
• Strong background in banking, financial services, or fintech (preferred).
• Proven ability to coach teams and drive continuous improvement in complex environments.
