Africa Tax Reimagined Solution Architect

About the role

The Africa Tax Reimagined Solution Architect will design, govern and deliver enterprise‑grade technology solutions that enable end‑to‑end tax and legal transformation across KPMG’s Africa cluster. The role works closely with Tax Reimagined Sub‑Regional Leads, Lead Tax Partners and technology, data and business teams to create scalable, compliant, and automated solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with lead partners and transformation architects to drive Tax Reimagined discussions, win new work and manage client engagements.
• Build sales pipelines, respond to RFPs, and articulate KPMG’s tax‑technology solutions to clients.
• Develop go‑to‑market materials, support regional sales campaigns and expand the Tax Reimagined pipeline.
• Lead the architecture and design of digital solutions for indirect tax, corporate tax, transfer pricing, statutory reporting and legal data frameworks.
• Create technical design documents, architecture diagrams and solution roadmaps that align with enterprise standards, security and governance.
• Ensure stable operations, client satisfaction and continuous evolution of delivered solutions.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of tax and legal processes combined with deep technical expertise.
• Proven experience in solution architecture for enterprise‑scale digital platforms.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
