Advancing Financial Adviser (Vryburg / Postmasburg / Kuruman / Kathu)

About the role

Old Mutual is recruiting an Advancing Financial Adviser based in Kuruman, with the role also open to Vryburg, Postmasburg and Kathu. The adviser handles routine customer service, clarifies customer needs through a multilevel sales script, develops relationships with potential customers and supports business development.

Key responsibilities

• Handle simple customer inquiries and receive visitors, referring complex matters to colleagues
• Keep customer details in the CRM accurate and record follow-up actions and notes on each sales call
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify their requirements
• Call allocated potential customers by telephone or in person to build relationships and act as first point of contact for queries and complaints
• Follow mandatory procedures to meet quality standards and comply with external regulatory and internal codes of conduct
• Support business development and identify potential customers through information, referrals and recommendations from existing customers
• Select data from others and enter it into spreadsheets or standard formats
• Contribute to a network of people, technologies and ideas inside and outside the company

Required profile

• NQF Level 5 Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent (required)
• Appointment made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the business unit
