Advancing Financial Adviser (Potchefstroom / Stilfontein / Wolmaransstad)

About the role

Old Mutual is recruiting an Advancing Financial Adviser based in Potchefstroom, Stilfontein or Wolmaransstad. The role covers customer service, relationship building and prospecting, with a focus on clarifying customer needs and developing relationships through calls and face-to-face contact.

Key responsibilities

• Handle simple customer inquiries and receive visitors, referring complex matters to colleagues
• Keep customer details in the CRM accurate and record follow-up actions and notes from each sales call
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify their requirements
• Call or visit allocated potential customers to build relationships and act as first point of contact for queries and complaints
• Follow mandatory procedures to meet quality standards and comply with external regulatory and internal codes of conduct
• Support business development and identify potential customers through information, referrals and recommendations from existing customers
• Select and enter data into spreadsheets or standard formats, and contribute to a network of people, technologies and ideas inside and outside the company

Required profile

• NQF Level 5 Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent (required)
• Appointments are made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit
