About the role
Old Mutual is recruiting an Advancing Financial Adviser in Hermanus. The role sits within the Financial Adviser group, and appointments are made according to the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit.
Required profile
- Minimum Matric or equivalent
- At least 12 months of financial services experience as a Financial Adviser
- Completion of the Long-term Insurance Class of Business
- Additional FAIS requirements such as Investments Class of Business, Regulatory Examination 5 (RE5) or an FSCA-approved qualification are advantageous
- Valid driver's licence and own car
- Clear criminal and credit check

- Consultative selling and strategic selling
- Sales software and sales data management
- Identifying customer needs and prospects, qualifying prospects and probing questions
- Customer service, customer feedback management and strengthening customer relationships
