Advancing Financial Adviser (Bethlehem / Lindley / Reitz)

About the role

Old Mutual is recruiting an Advancing Financial Adviser based in the Bethlehem / Lindley / Reitz area. The role covers customer service, prospecting and relationship building, and is open to candidates who meet the stated educational requirement.

Key responsibilities

• Handle simple customer inquiries and receive visitors, referring complex matters to colleagues
• Keep customer details in the CRM accurate and record follow-up actions and notes on each sales call
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify their needs
• Call allocated potential customers by telephone or in person to build relationships and act as first point of contact for queries and complaints
• Follow mandatory procedures to meet quality standards and comply with external regulatory and internal codes of conduct
• Support business development and identify potential customers through information, referrals and recommendations from existing clients
• Select and enter data into spreadsheets or standard formats
• Contribute to a network of people, technologies and ideas inside and outside the company

Required profile

• NQF Level 4, Grade 12, school leaving certificate, National or Occupational Certificate or equivalent (required)
• Appointments are made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit
