About the role
FirstRand is looking for an Administrator III to provide proactive, reliable, and efficient administrative and operational support within its talent team. You will help keep business processes seamless while supporting procurement, events, projects, and day‑to‑day office operations.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, manage supplies, equipment and vendor relationships, and coordinate facilities management.
- Provide high‑level administrative support, including onboarding new staff, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and following up on actions.
- Organise internal workshops, strategy sessions and events, handling venue, catering and technical setup.
- Raise purchase orders, process invoices, track expenses, support budget monitoring and liaise with finance on payments and reconciliations.
- Maintain supplier contracts, procurement processes and shared drives.
- Support project delivery by maintaining trackers, dashboards and status reports for the CDO Executive office.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and assist DL management across GTE/CDO.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in the financial services sector.
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent; a relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
- Strong organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy and a professional work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
- Adaptable, customer‑focused mindset and willingness to learn.
