About the role
The SAI Administrative Assistant provides essential support to leaders and functional teams, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations. Working under general supervision, the role handles moderately complex administrative tasks and contributes to the overall efficiency of the department.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare memos, reports, spreadsheets, charts, and presentations using various software platforms.
- Collect and compile data for internal use.
- Take accurate meeting minutes and distribute them promptly.
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate appointments.
- Answer and screen telephone calls, forward messages, and handle mail sorting.
- Operate standard office equipment such as copy machines and printers.
- Order office supplies and maintain organized filing systems.
- Perform other assigned administrative duties as needed.
Required profile
- Current valid Temple recommendation or equivalent eligibility.
- Two to three years of post‑high‑school education.
- Five years of diverse clerical experience or an equivalent background.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work discreetly with confidentiality and integrity.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn additional software applications as required.
- Competence in operating standard office equipment.
