About the role
Our client, a leading pest control service provider in Pretoria East, is looking for a friendly and presentable Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a professional and efficient front‑desk experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet visitors, manage the front desk and answer multi‑line phones.
- Organise executive calendars, schedule meetings and arrange travel.
- Draft memos, correspondence and scan physical records.
- Maintain digital filing systems and manage vendor deliveries.
- Track office supplies, order stationery and monitor inventory.
- Process customer invoices, credit notes and enter supplier orders in Pastel.
- Perform basic bank and supplier reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
Required profile
- Matric certificate.
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience.
- Valid driver’s licence with own transport.
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
Required skills
- Expert calendar management and filing systems.
- Supply inventory tracking.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Phone etiquette and client greeting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Pastel accounting software.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and adapt to office disruptions.
What we offer
- Competitive monthly salary between R15,000 and R20,000.
- Full‑time schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
