Administration Manager (40 hrs/week)

About the role

We are looking for an Administration Manager to support the Store Manager at Totalsports in Sandton. The role involves overseeing store administration, stock control and cash processes while ensuring compliance and a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with stock‑take and overall store administration.
• Monitor and analyse stock movement, extract reports and present turnover and performance data.
• Implement risk‑management procedures to minimise stock loss and shrinkage.
• Maintain in‑store filing systems and ensure compliance with all administration, systems and reporting procedures.
• Control cash and transactional activities, ensuring processes are followed.
• Uphold store safety and security protocols.
• Process customer transactions using the POS system and identify customer needs.
• Promote cash‑reward programmes to build customer loyalty.
• Apply visual merchandising principles and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Continuously develop selling skills, product knowledge and contribute to meeting sales targets.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years retail or administrative experience.
• Strong organisational, planning and multi‑tasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a passion for fashion trends.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships, make timely decisions and drive continuous improvement.
