Admin Stock Assistant – Retail Operations

About the role
The Admin Stock Assistant supports daily operational activities at iStore’s Johannesburg store, working closely with the Admin/Operations Manager to ensure accurate inventory and asset records.
Key responsibilities
- Record and process stock movements, including receiving, transferring and dispatching inventory.
- Participate in stock counts, cycle counts and audit activities to verify inventory accuracy.
- Maintain asset registers and ensure supporting documentation is organised and accessible.
- Identify stock variances and operational risks, escalating concerns to management promptly.
- Assist with back‑of‑house administrative tasks and uphold company SOPs.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of administrative experience in a retail environment.
- Exposure to stock control, inventory management or related retail administrative processes.
- Basic computer literacy and confidence working with electronic systems.
