About the role

As the Admin Operations Manager for iStore’s retail network in Johannesburg, you will lead back‑of‑house teams to ensure smooth, efficient store operations and a high‑quality experience for both staff and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily back‑of‑house operations across iStore retail locations, ensuring compliance with policies, processes and SOPs.
• Lead, coach and provide feedback to operational teams, fostering a supportive environment.
• Identify and implement improvements to systems and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce business risk.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using matrix management to align operational activities with business goals.
• Monitor store performance metrics and drive achievement of targets.

Required profile

• Completed Matric; tertiary qualification advantageous.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams in a complex, high‑turnover retail environment.
• Strong retail operations knowledge and experience.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced setting, learn quickly and think strategically.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering excellent customer experience and meeting store targets.
