About the role
The General Admin Assistant will form part of a small admin team at our new Warehouse in South Gate, where both clerical and admin support is needed. You will also be involved with the management, co‑ordination and implementation of office procedures (in conjunction with our Head office), while assisting with and managing reception duties.
Key responsibilities
- Front Desk and Reception
- Assist walk‑in clients & dealers
- Maintain office systems
- Serve as a liaison between the branch and Head office
- Manage the maintenance and organisation of office equipment and supplies
- Assist with general admin duties
Required profile
- Fine attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills under stress
- Take own initiative in problem solving
- Organised and able to take direction under authority
- Excellent listening skills
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Conflict resolution
- Preferably reside in the Johannesburg South area
- Own transport and valid driver’s licence
- No criminal record
- Contactable references and accurate history
