Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist (Remote, EST Hours)

About the role

ISTA Personnel Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to manage the full AR process for US‑based clients. Working remotely on EST hours, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices while maintaining strong professional relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and follow up on overdue invoices via phone and email.
• Process cash applications accurately within the ERP system and maintain up‑to‑date account records.
• Investigate and resolve payment queries, preparing ageing reports for management.
• Collaborate with internal departments to correct account discrepancies.
• Provide regular reporting on collections performance and maintain excellent customer service throughout the process.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role with proven collections expertise.
• Confident in making outbound collection calls and handling difficult conversations.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts simultaneously, and stay calm under pressure.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
