Accounting Clerk – Master Data & Financial Reporting

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk who will ensure the accuracy and completeness of master data across our financial and operational systems. The role supports day‑to‑day accounting activities as well as broader financial reporting and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain and verify master data for General Ledger accounts, cost and profit centres, purchasing information, assets, customers and vendors.
• Update and reconcile purchasing data and asset records to keep system information current.
• Maintain cost centre and profit centre structures to support internal reporting.
• Prepare and contribute to regular financial reporting cycles.
• Maintain vendor data integrity for B‑BBEE reporting and submission requirements.
• Ensure overall data consistency and accuracy across all financial and operational systems.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to ensure data accuracy.
• Experience handling vendor information for compliance reporting.
• Familiarity with financial reporting cycles and related documentation.
• Understanding of B‑BBEE compliance and submission processes.
