Accountant – SAICA/SAIPA Qualified, Post‑Experience

About the role

We are seeking a driven Financial Accountant to join leading organisations in Midrand. The role is ideal for candidates who have completed their SAICA or SAIPA articles and are looking to build on their post‑qualification experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements and management reports.
• Execute month‑end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and support audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Utilise Excel and accounting software to streamline reporting and data analysis.

Required profile

• BCom Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Successfully completed SAICA or SAIPA articles.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in financial reporting.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
