Accountant – Motor Dealership (Boksburg)

About the role

The motor dealer in Boksburg is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage a range of financial and administrative tasks within the dealership environment. The role reports to the Financial Manager and involves handling cash, reconciling accounts, and supporting both accounts payable and vehicle administration functions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and allocate accounts.
• Receipt, allocation and reporting of debtor balances.
• Cash‑flow forecasting and preparation of FIC reports.
• Allocate cash sheets and manage petty cash and cash for banking.
• Assist with accounts payable and vehicle administration duties.
• Conduct general ledger reconciliations.
• Arrange uniform fittings, ordering and processing.
• Process floorplan payments and DIC transactions.
• Control ordering books and perform other ad‑hoc administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize duties, manage time effectively and work independently.
• Capable of performing under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Team‑player with good communication skills.
• Experience in a motor dealership environment is essential.
