About the role
An accounting firm in Johannesburg is seeking a qualified accountant who has completed SAICA or SAIPA articles to join their team.
Key responsibilities
- Process and reconcile financial transactions
- Prepare monthly journals and account reconciliations
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end processes
- Prepare VAT and other statutory submissions
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with financial reporting and audits
- Perform general accounting and administrative duties
Required profile
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
- BCom Accounting or related qualification
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Required skills
- Microsoft Excel
- Accounting software
What we offer
- Salary package of R25 000 per month
