Accountant – Financial Management & Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Accountant to join our team in Kempton Park. The role involves managing financial reporting, overseeing accounting systems, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
• Maintain and optimise accounting systems (Sage and Xero) and implement internal controls.
• Ensure adherence to tax legislation, statutory filings, and audit requirements.
• Provide financial insights for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Partner with operational teams to drive cost control and profitability.

Required profile

• Completed SAICA articles (Chartered Accountant training).
• Minimum 4 years post‑articles experience in financial management.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax legislation, and corporate governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High integrity and commitment to professional standards.

Required skills

• Sage accounting software.
• Xero accounting software.
