Account Manager – Tool Wholesaler/Distributor

About the role

Our client in Potchefstroom is looking for an Account Manager to join their team.

Key responsibilities

• Call on existing customers regularly to understand their needs and ensure they are met.
• Retain and grow the existing customer database by delivering high-quality service and customer journeys.
• Provide a complete range of DIY and industrial tools and hardware to keep customers satisfied.
• Conduct high-quality sales calls focused on building trust, identifying customer needs, and driving sales.
• Act as a trusted supplier and subject matter expert on the customer’s business.
• Listen to customer requirements, assist with business propositions, and resolve any queries.
• Advise customers on new and innovative products and services offered by the company.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Account management experience.
• Hunter mindset and strong communication skills.
