Account Manager

About the role

Clicks Group Limited is seeking an Account Manager to join its Marketing Team in Cape Town. Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, you will act as the strategic bridge between internal stakeholders, creative teams, media partners and external agencies, ensuring marketing initiatives are delivered on time and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the marketing department, translating business challenges into effective marketing solutions.
• Lead integrated marketing projects from briefing through execution, managing scope, timelines, budgets and cross‑functional teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk mitigation strategies and status reports.
• Oversee brief management, ensuring all requests contain complete, accurate and commercially relevant information.
• Support brand management by coordinating campaign execution and ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy.
• Plan and coordinate internal and external events such as corporate gatherings, store openings, employee engagement initiatives and sponsorship activations.
• Manage workflow across multiple simultaneous projects, prioritising tasks and allocating resources to meet business priorities.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, produce campaign reports and prepare meeting agendas and minutes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing marketing accounts or projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
