Account Manager

About the role

Splssh is looking for an Account Manager to be the primary point of contact for its existing portfolio of branded‑experience clients. The role focuses on nurturing relationships, anticipating client needs and turning strong service into natural new business.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow a portfolio of existing Splssh clients.
• Build deep, trusted relationships with marketing managers, brand managers and HR teams.
• Anticipate client needs and propose relevant projects, seasonal campaigns and repeat business.
• Identify and develop new opportunities through personal network, referrals and relationship‑building.
• Brief creative and production teams accurately to ensure projects start correctly.
• Represent Splssh at client meetings, events and brand activations.
• Act as the voice of the client internally and the voice of Splssh externally.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in account management, client services or a similar relationship‑focused role.
• Natural people‑person who remembers names, follows up and makes clients feel valued.
• Strong commercial instinct without being pushy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised, reliable and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Background in marketing, branding, advertising or a creative industry is a plus.
