Account Manager – Enterprise Complex Solutions (Multi‑vendor)

About the role

DataFin IT Recruitment is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join a leading Internet Service & Network specialist in Cape Town. The role focuses on selling enterprise‑level, multi‑vendor solutions and managing the full sales cycle for complex IT projects.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell the company’s value‑proposition offerings to existing and new clients in the Cape Town region.
• Identify and qualify business opportunities by researching market trends, industry events, and client needs.
• Lead end‑to‑end sales processes, from prospecting and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and uphold the organization’s reputation.
• Manage ongoing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and uncover further business opportunities.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) completed; additional professional courses in sales, communication, presentation, and negotiation are preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of account management experience, preferably within the Western Cape, selling enterprise‑complex, multi‑vendor solutions.
• Strong network of senior‑level contacts in the Cape Town market.
• Proven ability to manage a sales channel and drive business development.
