About the role
My client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead the workshop team in Phillipi, Cape Town.
Key responsibilities
- Collect vehicle check sheets from drivers.
- Implement vehicle service plans and perform servicing as required.
- Book vehicles for service with dealers or service providers.
- Conduct vehicle checks in person and random checks versus driver check sheets.
- Record job cards for every service and repair.
- Carry out daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly preventative maintenance checks.
- Develop a general maintenance plan for all working machinery.
- Allocate maintenance tasks between the Workshop Supervisor and assistants.
- Perform general repairs and building maintenance as needed.
Required profile
- At least 3 years of experience as a Workshop Supervisor in a similar industry.
- Ability to prioritize, plan and organise work.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, honest and trustworthy.
- Good communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Enthusiastic and energetic.
