Wellness Assistant (Retail)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and proactive Wellness Assistant to join our retail team at Waterstone Village. In this role you will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right products and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, identify their needs and provide tailored advice on wellness products and services.
• Achieve sales and unit targets by promoting new lines, promotions and alternative solutions when items are unavailable.
• Maintain store standards: follow opening and closing procedures, ensure proper merchandising, ticketing and minimise shrinkage.
• Conduct accurate stock counts, check product expiry dates and handle cash transactions at the point of sale.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience as a Sales Assistant in a wellness or similar retail environment.
• Completed Wellness Academy Foundation and Specialisation training, plus any supplier training.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours.

Required skills

• Computer literacy (ability to use retail POS and inventory systems).
