About the role
Epol is seeking a Weighbridge Operator to ensure accurate weighing of all outgoing finished products and support on‑time deliveries to farms. The role involves operating the weighbridge, recording data in SAP and Excel, and handling related documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure on‑time, in‑full (OTIF) deliveries to farms according to the daily schedule.
- Weigh empty and full vehicles, generate and print weighbridge slips for drivers.
- Capture and record all vehicle, driver, truck and seal details in the computer system.
- Forward weighbridge slips and dispatch control forms to the appropriate farm or personnel.
- Follow bulk‑loading procedures and perform monthly/weekly weighbridge calibrations.
Required profile
- Grade 12 with Mathematics or Math Literacy.
- Computer literate with 1–2 years experience operating a weighbridge (advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills.
Required skills
- Operation of a weighbridge and completion of related documentation.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
