Web Developer – Website Growth (Webflow & Wix)

About the role

We are seeking a strategic, creative, and hands‑on Web Developer focused on website growth. Based in South Africa, you will own the development, optimisation, and performance of our digital presence for Montu UK and Alternaleaf.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the website development and optimisation strategy aligned with business and growth goals.
• Build, maintain, and optimise pages and templates using Webflow and Wix.
• Develop scalable components and add custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript where required.
• Collaborate with marketing, pharmacy, product, and growth teams to deliver a consistent, high‑performing user experience.
• Act as the technical owner for all website initiatives, ensuring best‑in‑class web standards.
• Implement and manage CRO initiatives, including A/B and multivariate testing.
• Monitor site performance and user behaviour with Google Analytics, Hotjar, and other analytics tools.
• Apply SEO best practices across site structure, metadata, and technical implementation.
• Ensure mobile‑first design, accessibility, and page‑speed optimisation.
• Identify opportunities to improve conversion funnels, lead generation, upselling, and cross‑selling.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in website marketing, product management, or digital strategy.
• Hands‑on expertise in Webflow and Wix.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimisation, custom code within Webflow, and structured data for SEO.
• Experience with API integrations and compliance‑led tracking, preferably in regulated environments.
• Proven track record of improving site performance and conversion rates.
• Familiarity with CMS workflows, UX/UI principles, and web analytics.
• Ability to plan, deliver, and own web projects end‑to‑end.
