Web Developer & SEO Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a creative, results‑driven Web Developer & SEO Specialist to take a new law‑firm website from approved design mockups to a high‑performance launch. You will own the site’s technical architecture, SEO strategy, and ongoing optimisation to generate qualified cases.

Key responsibilities

• Transform design mockups into a fast, fully responsive website and manage it end‑to‑end after launch.
• Build and maintain practice‑area, location, and blog pages within the CMS.
• Continuously improve UX, page speed, accessibility, security and bug‑free performance.
• Own site architecture, internal linking, crawlability, indexation, XML sitemaps, redirects and Core Web Vitals optimisation.
• Implement structured data and legal schema (LegalService, FAQ, Review, Breadcrumb).
• Conduct high‑intent keyword research and optimise on‑page content while respecting E‑E‑A‑T and YMYL standards.
• Manage Google Business Profile, local citations and location pages for local map‑pack visibility.
• Support link‑building and digital‑PR initiatives to increase domain authority.
• Run CRO experiments on intake forms, click‑to‑call paths and live chat.
• Own GA4, Google Search Console, lead/call tracking and rank tracking to shape a growth roadmap.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience at the intersection of web design/build and SEO (agency or in‑house).
• Proven track record designing fast, conversion‑focused sites on Webflow or WordPress.
• Strong knowledge of technical, on‑page and local SEO with measurable ranking improvements.
• Highly organised, able to manage a full web launch independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in legal or other competitive high‑intent local services is a plus.
