Web Developer – React.js – Centurion

About the role

Join an international development team that builds high-performance, modern user interfaces using React.js. The position is based in Cape Town and focuses on creating responsive front-end components for a global organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement responsive UI components with React.js, Redux and Webpack.
• Design front-end architecture that supports scalable UI concepts.
• Write clean, efficient JavaScript, SCSS and HTML code following best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot and optimise front-end performance.
• Document code changes and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional developers to discuss UI ideas and requirements.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a React.js developer.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, SCSS, HTML and front-end tooling.
• Experience with version control (GitHub) and browser-based debugging.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and good communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent practical experience.
