Warehouse Team Leader

About the role

The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for overseeing both inbound and outbound movements, ensuring that products are accurately received, stored, picked, staged, and loaded to meet daily load plans. The role focuses on maintaining optimal site turnaround times while supporting production lines and upholding product quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound activities: receive, count, unload, and store products accurately.
• Oversee outbound processes: pick, stage, and load products for on‑time dispatch.
• Ensure timely replenishment of picking areas and maintain model stock levels.
• Coordinate with production to feed containers and remove stock without disrupting manufacturing.
• Conduct daily stock counts, forward and reverse counts, and take corrective actions for discrepancies.
• Implement product quality controls, including rework, stock rotation, and FEFO principles.
• Record breakages and decanting incidents for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading warehouse or logistics teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce standard operating procedures.
• Capability to identify and remove operational obstacles.
• Excellent communication with production and quality teams.
