Warehouse Coordinator

About the role

The client is looking for a highly organised Warehouse Coordinator to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. Reporting to the Warehouse/Logistics Manager, the role ensures smooth receiving, storage, dispatch and accurate inventory management in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts and investigate variances.
• Verify incoming and outgoing stock documentation for correctness.
• Liaise with transport providers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
• Support warehouse planning, scheduling and operational reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and company procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements and resolve operational issues.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory control or distribution.
• Relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehousing or Business Administration is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of stock control, receiving and dispatch processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP platforms.
