About the role
The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for receiving fresh produce and consumable stock, ensuring accurate verification of quantities, quality and expiration dates. This role supports the smooth flow of goods into the warehouse and maintains high standards of organization and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Receive stock into the indoor receiving area, checking quantities, quality and expiration dates.
- Transfer deliveries from the external bay to their designated locations throughout the warehouse.
- Consolidate stock during low‑activity periods and maintain housekeeping of the receiving zone.
- Assist with product returns and collect returned items from specified areas.
Required profile
- Preferably holds a BT and/or forklift licence; include a copy with your CV.
- Experience or training in handling FMCG and fresh produce, including sorting and organizing.
- No history of drug use.
- Clear criminal record.
- Matric (NSC) pass; attach the matric certificate to be considered.
