Virtual Assistant – Call Handling & Job Booking (Remote)

About the role

Mortaro Group is seeking a South‑Africa‑based Virtual Assistant to become the first point of contact for its construction‑partner network. Working remotely, you will handle inbound and outbound calls, log enquiries and book jobs efficiently, ensuring no opportunity is missed.

Key responsibilities

• Answer all inbound customer calls professionally and confidently.
• Make outbound calls to follow up on missed calls and enquiries.
• Log every enquiry and ensure it is responded to promptly.
• Book jobs accurately using the Tradify system.
• Reschedule appointments with customers when required.
• Allocate jobs logically based on partner availability, location and capacity.
• Group jobs in the same area on the same day where possible.
• Monitor daily schedules to maximise partner utilisation.
• Flag booking conflicts or issues to management.

Required profile

• Fluent English with a clear, confident telephone manner.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to speak with clients all day.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Logical thinker with good geographical awareness.
• Reliable and able to commit to answering all calls during UK business hours.
• Suitable for a virtual assistant managing a small client portfolio.

Required skills

• Experience with booking systems or CRMs.
• Familiarity with Tradify (bonus).

What we offer

• Full‑time remote role, Monday‑Friday, aligned to UK business hours.
• Fixed monthly retainer of £400 (approximately R8,700‑R9,100).
• Performance‑based evaluation on call handling, job bookings and learning speed.
