Vehicle Sales Executive – New & Used Cars

About the role

A leading corporate motor dealership in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Vehicle Sales Executive to sell new and pre‑owned cars. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Sell new and pre‑owned vehicles, providing thorough demonstrations and test drives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals and prospecting.
• Negotiate and close sales, achieving monthly sales targets.
• Complete sales administration accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure a professional vehicle handover experience.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product knowledge and market trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a New/Used Vehicle Sales Executive, preferably within a corporate‑branded dealership.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and closing abilities.
• Strong customer‑service and relationship‑building skills.
• Valid South African driver’s licence.
• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Clear criminal record.
