Vehicle-Leasing (No-Finance) Sales Executive

About the role

Our client in the digital automotive sector is looking for a Rental (short‑ and long‑term vehicle leasing, no‑finance) Sales Executive to join a high‑performance car rental division. Based in Pretoria, the role drives the end‑to‑end rental sales process, turning digital demand into approved, compliant, and delivered rentals while protecting margins and ensuring a premium customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Contact new leads within five minutes of allocation via call, WhatsApp or video; email‑only contact is not acceptable.
• Qualify customers, assess affordability, vehicle suitability and rental availability, and set realistic expectations.
• Complete rental applications accurately, manually verify income, expenses, employment, industry risk data and upload full FICA documentation.
• Proactively follow up on pending validations, outstanding documents and approved but undelivered deals, escalating at‑risk cases early.
• Sell from group inventory, pivot to alternative vehicles when the first choice is unavailable.
• Prepare vehicles for delivery to a “Harrods‑level” standard, ensuring clean, correct cars and clear explanation of rental terms.
• Capture all walk‑ins, referrals and self‑generated leads in the CRM immediately.
